Team owner Sylvan Adams, an Israeli-Canadian billionaire, announced that it would withdraw from day-to-day business in the coming year.

“Progress often requires victims in sport, and this step is essential to secure the future of the team,” said the racing team. Adams had already announced the planned renaming at the end of September. The name under which the team will start will be announced shortly.

At this year’s Vuelta a España, the team was affected several times by pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
