The partial standstill of government transactions in the USA continues.

The necessary votes to dissolve it failed the required majority in the US Senate – first it was about a draft of the Democrats, then one of the Republicans. There is currently no prospect of an end to the “shutdown” in the USA – it is expected that the whole thing is going to the next week. Day three of the partial standstill was on Friday.

On Tuesday, the budget negotiations had remained without agreement before the deadline at midnight (local time). As a result, the so -called shutdown came into force on Wednesday night. This means that the authorities at the federal level have to put their work on ice to a large extent and can only do essential tasks. The Democrats and President Donald Trump’s Republicans blame each other to have triggered the partial standstill of government transactions ./rin/dp/he
