Connor McDavid is a hockey superstar, but what is his success in the background? Jesse Puljujärvi and Markus Granlund are now directly telling what kind of man McDavid is – and why he is the best in the world.
Edmonton Oilers’ 28-year-old striker Connor McDavid is the best hockey player in the world today. The Canadian rocket has played in the NHL for 11 seasons and 712 regular season matches. They produced 361+721 = 1082 power points, or 1.52 points per match.
On top of that, McDavid has played 96 NHL playoff games and has produced 150 power points.
Ferocious figures.

Jesse Puljujärvi was the number one round of the Oilers’ first round, and he was also able to play in the McDavid chain during 2020-23.
“Pulju” is perhaps the best known of all Finnish players to the Canadian superstar and his abilities.
– The business makes the man the best player in the world. It’s unique. No one else has such a good movement. It allows him to make differences between other players in every aspect of the field and to win the unity, says Puljujärvi.
– And when you can do it all the time, it does make good things in the game.

The Canadian may have already received hockey gifts already in breast milk.
– Yes, that gifts are definitely needed, it is congenital too. But yes, this guy is hard to work, Puljujärvi recalls.
– All that needs a good support network, and he has it. That’s where things are done right. He spends the time and money to do the right thing and everything works. And that’s what many other top players now have.
“Won’t come as a Christmas present”

Markus Granlund was the Oilers man in the 2019-20 season. The striker played a total of 34 matches in the Oilers. He has a total of 335 NHL matches on his belt.
Granlund followed McDavid carefully.
– That skating skills and speed are very special. And how well he can handle the reel, see the game and make the right solutions. It’s the biggest thing that you can do all the things at full speed. I have learned a lot from him myself.
The man sees McDavid’s speed and skill levels slightly differently from Puljujärvi.
– One coach sometimes said that the skill gift or skating skill at Christmas will not come to Santa Claus. Yes, that job has to be done yourself. It will certainly come through workout. Of course he has some good genes too, but it has certainly come to him through work, Granlund says.
McDavid’s $ 100 million agreement ends after this season. There is a huge speculation in Canada as to whether the man will continue in the Oilers or whether to continue his career on a larger market.
Both options are reportedly still open.
