They play around in a garden in Ees. Mother Charlotte’s nine Corgipups. They discover life, fall over their own feet and are playing a lot.

For days and nights, owner Monique Koning has been in the room with mother Charlotte, waiting for the birth. Ten puppies were born, but nine survived. And that is quite special, because normally Corgis get a nest of six to eight puppies.

In two weeks, eight of the nine puppies will receive a new house. One stays with the family. A difficult moment for King, she says. But she has one comfort: “They have all received a very nice address with very lovely people, so that will be fine.”
