Two top teams are stumbling in the Champions League: FC Barcelona and Manchester City will concede both late goals on Wednesday evening.

The top game in the Champions League against the reigning title holder Paris Saint-Germain has ended with a bitter defeat for FC Barcelona. The Catalans lost 1: 2 (1: 1) in front of a home crowd. Striker Gonçalo Ramos scored the decisive goal for the guests in the 90th minute.

Previously, 19-year-old Senny Mayulu had already made compensation (38th minute). Ferran Torres had been successful for Barça (19th). While PSG started the new royal class season with the perfect yield of six points from two games, Barcelona stands for three points. At the weekend, the duel with FC Sevilla is on the plan for the eleven of Hansi Flick in the league.

Meanwhile, Manchester City also received a late goal at the guest appearance in Monaco. The Pep Guardiola team dominated the Ligue-1 club, but Haaland’s two goals from ex-BVB star Erling were not enough to win (15th, 44th). Monaco equalized twice and ultimately came to a happy 2: 2 (1: 2).

Shortly after the first goal of the Norwegian striker, Jordan Teze hit the left goal angle (18th). The former Bayern defender Eric Dier made the end of the game. The Englishman was hit by City professional Nico in the penalty area with his foot on the face. He then converted the due penalty into a point win for his team (90th).

Juventus Turin also only played 2-2 – and, like City, had to swallow the equalization at the last minute. Renato Veiga headed for Villarreal to compensate (90th). Juve had turned the game after the break. Federico Gatti (49.) and Francisco Conceição (56th) had been successful for the Italians. Georges Mikautadze had achieved the 1-0 for the “yellow submarine”

Arsenal celebrated a hard -won home success. The Londoners defeated Piraeus Olympiacos 2-0 (1-0). Gabriel Martinelli (12th) and Bukayo Saka (90.+2) had the “Gunners” cheer.

The SSC Naples could also be celebrated in front of its own fans. A double pack by newcomer Rasmus Højlund (36th, 79th) gave the Italian champions a 2-1 success of Sporting Lisbon. For the Portuguese, Luis Suárez had meanwhile got 1-1 with a penalty.
