After the United Nations, the European Union also re -introduced its sanctions against Iran, after Iran and the West could not reach an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program. The Member States agreed “a number of restrictive measures to be introduced again to the nuclear proliferation activities of Iran,” the council said in a press release.
