And although no further gigs are planned on November 23 after their last “Live 25” appointment in Brazil, rumors circulate that the Gallagher brothers in Knebworth or also in the Etihad Stadium or even in Germany. Liam Gallagher heated the speculation about a tour expansion with a statement at the end of the Oasis set in the Wembley Arena. Before his final song “Champagne Supernova”, he thanked the fans for their trust and said: “See you next year.” However, the Brit was not more specific.
Manager previously denied further tour plans
However, fans noted on social media that the statement could also mean a live dates, but an album or a solo tour. Already in May, Oasis manager Alec McKinlay had rejected any hopes for new material from the Britpop band, as “NME” reported, and he said they also had no intention to announce further tour dates. “This is pretty much the last time Noel made clear in the press,” said McKinlay according to “NME”. “It is an opportunity for fans who have not yet seen the band to get to know them, or at least for some of them. And no, no new music is planned.”
The Gallaghers let their fans fidget
Liam Gallagher contradicted Alec McKinlay’s comments later on X and confirmed that only he and his brother would say that when it came to Oasis updates. He made it clear on the social media platform: “The only ones that make decisions about the future of Oasis are me and RKID, so let’s get involved one day after another.”
In 2025, the Gallaghers had no show in Knebworth and a new album. But how more concert plans – also for Germany – is unclear.
