Not only the Super Bowl is huge, the half -time show is also important every year. Now the artist has been determined for 2026.
The half -time show at the Super Bowl will receive a new face next year – one of the currently most famous in the music world. Latin rap star Bad Bunny will be on stage at the NFL final next February.
The final of the North American professional league will take place on February 8th in the San Francisco 49ers stadium in Santa Clara. The show during the break is one of the largest stage performances worldwide.
In the past, numerous world stars have already been seen in the Super Bowl half-time-including Michael Jackson (1993), Prince (2007), Madonna (2012), Bruce Springsteen (2009) and Lady Gaga (2017). US rapper Kendrick Lamar performed last year.
Bad Bunny is called Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio with a bourgeois name and comes from Puerto Rico. After the announcement of his appearance, he said that he was “for my people, my culture and our history”.
The NFL described the 31-year-old as one of the “most influential and most streamed artists in the world”. He combines “genres, languages and target groups” – that made him an ideal choice.
