1860 Munich sets everything at the beginning. After a disappointing start to the third division season, a new sporting leadership is being sought.
Third division 1860 Munich from coach Patrick Glöckner and Managing Director Dr. Christian Werner separated. The bang comes after three bankruptcies in a row. According to reports from the “kicker” and the “picture”, the club itself has now also confirmed the separation.
As announced in a message in 1860, Manfred Paula also took over the management as a sports director. It is still unclear who will train the team. The Munich team started the season with three wins and two draws, but then lost the last three league games against Rostock, Hoffenheim II and Aue.
Glöckner had only taken over the team in January. At the beginning of the season, the clear goal had set himself to climb into the 2nd league. For this purpose, two former Bundesliga professionals were hired with Kevin Volland and Florian Niederlechner.
The distance to relegation square three is currently three points, the six or eleven points for the first two table places. With a new sporting leadership, new momentum is now to come into the team in order to achieve the goal in the end.
