Germany’s heavyweight hope Nelvie Tiafack wants to start with the professionals after a successful amateur career. For this, the bronze winner of Paris teams up with social media star Jake Paul. Tiafack wins his first fight overseas prematurely.
Nelvie Tiafack celebrated a successful overseas debut on the stage of US promoter Jake Paul and also won his second professional fight confidently.
In Montreal/Canada, the 26-year-old beat the overwhelmed and overweight American Ramiro Robles through technical KO in round four.
For Tiafack it was the second early victory in the second professional fight, Robles conceded the first defeat in the sixth duel.
Tiafack (1.90 meters) covered his 16 centimeter smaller opponent from the start with blows to the head and body, Robles showed a stable chin. In the fourth round, however, the corner of the 28-year-old had enough and saved Robles with the signal to the task from another skill.
“This is just the beginning of the trip. We fly to the damned moon,” said Tiafack in the ring interview. The duel with Robles was an elementary fight, “I hope I have a long way in front of me, we already have plans”.

For the Cologne team, it was the first professional fight in overseas under the banner of Influencer Jake Paul and his agency Most Valuable Promotions.
In 2024, Tiafack was the first German boxer to win a super heavyweight medal (from 91 kilograms). In July of this year he gave his professional debut in Heidelberg at a fight evening of the new organizer Ringide Zone.
In Germany, Tiafack is managed by Ringside zone boss Florian Winter. This is planning further events in 2026, including an event with Tiafack in its hometown of Cologne.
Tiafack had expressed very ambitious before he left Montreal. “I want to push my career forward quickly because of course I was a top amateur,” he said at “Sky Sports”.

“I just want a few fights, I don’t want to be too slow. Our goal is: directly to the top,” said Tiafack. He expects to fight for world championships as a professional.
“We will see. Faster than most, that’s all I can say,” said the German over his schedule towards the top of the world. In the heavyweight role a “new wave and I definitely belong to it”.
