Several chalets caught fire on Thursday evening at the Hof van Overloon holiday park at Schaartven. The fire started in one chalet and quickly spread to other houses. The fire brigade scaled up in a big way to fight the fire, while the flames hit meters high from the holiday homes.
Around half past eight the fire broke out at Hof van Overloon holiday park. The fire brigade drives with water cars to extinguish the fire and prevent more chalets from catching fire. The chalets that are already on fire can no longer be saved.
The blazing flames cause a lot of smoke, the fire brigade warns local residents to keep windows and doors closed in the event of nuisance. It is not yet known whether there are victims.
