On Thursday (September 25, 2025), The Cure announced her third festival headliner slot for 2026: In addition to the “Rock en Seine” and “Nova Rock”, Robert Smith and Band will also appear at Spanish next year Primavera festival.
The further line-up of the Barcelona festival includes Doja Cat, The XX, Gorillaz and Massive Attack-all listed after The Cure. The base of the Cure Cure Courage of various headliner dates is reminiscent of 2019.

Makes 24 headlining shows. For the coming year, The Cure is still three. But there is still some time until the festival summer 2026.
New album and Germany tour?
Robert Smith actually wanted to have released the successor to “Songs of a Lost World” from autumn 2024. But we are used to waiting times – the record appeared after 16 years of studio pause. The no less urgent question is: Will the Cure also tour Germany? Maybe in autumn 2026 through the halls.
