RTL 4 is no longer concluded with Good Times Bad Times, which would then continue exclusively with Videoland, and therefore the viewing figures of the soap are one hot topic. What does Erik de Vogel think?
The linear viewing figures of Good Times Bad Times have been under pressure for years. Every summer again it becomes painfully clear that the RTL 4-viewer would rather see something different than this soap series, because the summer replacement I know all about it with Ruben Nicolai always attracts many more viewers. Now the channel does not close the soap series for the first time.
What does Erik think?
In that case, GTST would move exclusively to Videoland, but if RTL 4 stops, the shine will of course be completely gone, insofar as that is not the case.
What does Erik de Vogel, one of the best -known actors in the series, think? He says in Shownieuws: “I have been participating for so long and I have been asked so often, every few years again, from:” What do you think of the viewing figures? ” They also asked that twenty years ago and 25 years ago and 27.5 years ago, so the question is not surprising at all. ”
Big difference
Okay, but what does Erik think of it? “I don’t think so much of it. There is a very big difference between the team that makes it and the team that broadcasts and sells it. That is a different side and we have nothing to do with that in our daily work, thank goodness.”
He continues: “We are just making and thinking up beautiful stories here and to tap and play as well as possible. For the rest, we have to surrender and that has been going pretty well for 35 years, I would say.”
Ups and downs
Noa Zwan, who also has a role in the soap series, thinks it will be fine again. “Every program has its ups and downs, but we just fell aside and will soon have that beautiful episode and hope that we will continue on that course.”
And Jette van der Meij, after all those decades, concludes: “I think we should just become the longest running soap in the world.”
