The Karlsruher SC wins 2: 1 (1: 1) against 1. FC Nürnberg in the 2nd Bundesliga, which remains in the last place in the table.

This increases the pressure on coach Miroslav Klose, who already experienced the fourth defeat of his team and was also eliminated in the DFB Cup at the regional league team FV Illertissen.

Marvin Wanitzek scored the winning goal for the KSC in the 75th minute, which is still unbeaten and has eleven points on the account.

Fabian Schleusener (44.) had brought the team of coach Christian Eichner in the lead, Henri Koudossou (45.+4) in the meantime.

Biron with very early foul and good chance

Without victory and with just one point, the Nuremberg came to the wildlife park. After a few seconds, it was shown that they were willing to improve the situation thanks to aggressive interference.

However, Mickaël Biron overcovered it when he attacked Wanitzek, who had received a short back pass with the impetus, with an open sole.

But it was not just the commitment that was right with the Franks. They also played handsome, were the better team in the first half and came to chances.

One of them missed Biron, who, after a pass from Julian Justvan, took too long for the conclusion and was therefore successfully disturbed by goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat (14th).

Late hits before the break

The break was strictly approaching when the possible goals were achieved. The first thing – surprisingly – succeeded in the Karlsrußen when David Herold flanked without pressure from the opponent and decreased directly in the middle. Goalkeeper Jan Reichert was without chance to ward off the ball due to the short distance.

Too much force: goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat directs the shot from Henri Koudossou into the goal.

In the fourth minute of added time, however, the club was still equal. Bernat still had a hand on the Koudossou shot, but due to the force the ball found its way to the net.

Reichert with a strong reflex

Even after the break, the 33,180 spectators saw an attractive game. The better chances were at the KSC at the beginning of the second half. Herold came to the header from less than five meters, Reichert defeated the ball, half of which had already exceeded the goal line (55.).

The Nuremberg were no longer superior after the change of sides, but also no worse than the Karlsruhe. Klose’s team was even significantly ahead with the goal shots.

Wanitzek pushes a consideration

But the Nuremberg no longer met, but the KSC was already. Wanitzek shot you too short and the ball defeated in the middle.

The club gave a good chance to equalize in added time and struggled again with having lost a game without being the worse team.

Not worse, but lost again: Nuremberg coach Miroslav Klose
