Clear victory against Finland in the preliminary round
In the preliminary round, Germany in Tampere had won 91:61 against the host of the group phase. But Finland had sensationally switched off Serbia in the round of 16.
Against Georgia, which had also surprisingly won against France, Markkanen and Co. were clearly superior from the start. After the change of sides, the Georgians came up again to six points, but the Finns no longer came in danger.
