“There was not a lot of gasoline in the tank anymore, so I think they drove the mower to Uitgeest,” Demoitié begins. “It may also be that the person has refueled, because there was still a jug of Aspen (petrol ed.).”
In addition to the mowing machine, Demoitié also found a leaf blower, a heel ax and work gloves. He has saved those things.

Demoitié came back on Sunday from a work job with friend and colleague Boet Verboom. To his surprise, the mower was still there.
“We called the police and luckily they arrived immediately. It was also irresponsible to leave the mower in connection with the Heemskerk Feestweek,” says De Uitgeester. “You don’t have to have that thing set on fire.”
