Schweinsteiger with a cheeky saying to Sedlaczek

After her baby break, Esther Sedlaczek is back in front of the camera in doubles with the ex-international. A short, joking change of words caused a sensation.
As if she had never been away: just a few weeks after the birth of her third child, Esther Sedlaczek celebrated her comeback at the start of the German national team in the World Cup qualification. It was only in July that the 39-year-old had become a mother for the third time. After a daughter born in 2019 and a son born in 2021, Sedlaczek gave birth to another son.
And there was a typical moment between the two again: When DFB goalkeeper Oliver Baumann was switched back to the moderation duo on the field, the German international, who warmed up in the background of the two, were first to be seen.
Then the following, curious short change of words developed, which reminded directly of the old times of the duo:
Sedlaczek: “Basti is already very excited about the balls. Hope that someone will be rejected again …”
Schweinsteiger then cheekily: “Nah, I hope that nobody will hit you. Although, actually …”
Sedlaczek: “Yes, thank you very much, I don’t need to worry next to you.”
Both laughed and continued in their moderation before the game kicked off.
The duo from the Berlin-born and the 2014 world champion has proven itself in the TV broadcasts of the “Sportschau” at DFB Cup and international matches in the first for years. Since 2021, Sedlaczek has also been leading through the “Sportschau” on Saturday evening and has recently extended its contract at ARD until 2029.
