PSV has taken over Anass Salah-Eddine until the end of the season on a rental basis from AS Roma. There is an option to buy on the 23-year-old left back. “When PSV emerged as a serious option for me, I was immediately enthusiastic.”
PSV, which lost to Telstar on Saturday (0-2), wanted to strengthen the selection for some time with a left back and after the injury of Mauro JĂșnior completely. The Brazilian will not be used for the next six to eight weeks due to an ankle injury.
At the beginning of this year, Salah-Eddine was also in the interest of PSV, but then went from FC Twente to AS Roma. In the Italian capital he could make little impression and now he is still going to Eindhoven.
“After the first conversations with the people within the club, I immediately felt a click. Then the choice for my was quickly made.”
“I will wear the logo with pride.”
The youth international will play with back number two. “I am convinced that I will be of added value for PSV. I will give everything for the club, fight every match and wear the logo with pride.”
Technical director Earnest Stewart sees not only a defender in Salah-Eddine, but also a midfielder. “We are very happy that Anass has chosen PSV and go on the hunt for great successes together.”
