Tonight a fire broke out at restaurant Semiramis in the center of Assen. The fire started around something past six and a lot of smoke is coming out of the building.
The restaurant and café Kings and Queens above have been evacuated by the fire brigade.
It is not clear how the fire originated. The fire brigade is currently checking whether the fire has gone through.
The street is closed to traffic.
