At the Station of Zandvoort, it is already a hustle and bustle this morning. Earlier in the morning it was also quite busy on the train between The Hague and Haarlem. Sprinters leave for Zandvoort every five minutes from Haarlem. Formula 1 fans are already discussing the race in the train. Many fans are dressed in the orange or in clothing of one of the racing teams such as Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull Racing, the Max Verstappen team.

Employees of the Dutch Railways welcome the visitors to Zandvoort station. “Have fun today!”, One of them shouts through a megaphone. When leaving the station, most people bring out ponchos and umbrellas. Some hide from the rain under shelters and in bus shelters. “The sun will shine immediately!”, Assures an NS employee.

Since 8 a.m. this morning, the Circuit’s site is open for all racing fans. The third free practice starts at 11.30 am, the qualification is at 3 p.m.
