A dilapidated monastery, abandoned buildings and stately mansions: these are some of the surprising locations where art and heritage meet during Quartier Kortrijk. “With my neon work Only Reality you can see how the destruction goes into dialogue with space. You cannot stag the high ceilings and the traces of decay. You really feel the history here,” says artist Nathalie Vanheule.

The Fall, a penetrating photo that happened to be in New York. “I saw someone falling and recording how the environment reacted to that. Afterwards I realized that it was an important work.”
