Kazakhstan has only been a member of the UEFA since 2002

The Football Association from Kazakhstan was founded in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union and was initially a member of the Asian Association. In 2002 the move to UEFA took place.

The Almaty receives 18.62 million euros alone as a entry fee. For each win there is 2.1 million euros, for each draw 700,000 euros. There are further bonuses when the co-rounds are reached, for which at least 24th place in the total table would be necessary. Additional payments in the single -digit million range are also safe via another pot of the UEFA.
