FC Bayern is still looking for reinforcements for the offensive – but only on a rental basis. Now the German record champion could have been found.
FC Bayern Munich apparently agreed with Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea about a change. The “Bild” newspaper reports. According to this, there is a loan of the player in the room, possibly with a purchase option. According to the report, the clubs would have to communicate so that a deal comes about.
In any case, a loan would fit the new transfer strategy of the record champions. Uli Hoeneß had recently emphasized that it would no longer want to get a fixed new addition. “I would very much advocate filling the squad with a loan player who will be contracted by June 30, 2026,” he said to the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”. According to the report, the entire supervisory board of Sports Director Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund has only approved a loan.
Nevertheless, Jackson’s obligation would be surprising. Because Eberl had already emphasized in the past few weeks not to deal with a commitment of the 24-year Senegalese-and confirmed this again last weekend as part of the Bundesliga opening against RB Leipzig.
Instead, it had long been speculated on a commitment by Jackson’s team -mate Christopher Nkunku. The deal failed, however, because Chelsea only wanted to sell the player, but did not want to lend. This agreement with Chelsea is probably still ahead of FC Bayern in the Jackson case.
Due to the departures of Thomas Müller, Kingsley Coman, Mathys Tel, Leroy Sané, Paul Wanner and Bryan Zaragoza, the German record champion and the injury -related failure of Jamal Musialas are still desperating for offensive reinforcements. Florian Wirtz’s desired commitments (switched from Leverkusen to FC Liverpool instead) and Nick Woltemade (remained at VfB Stuttgart) had failed. Most recently, coach Vincent Kompany and striker Harry Kane had already criticized the inadequate size of the squad.
