The Austrian sporting goods branchist Hervis has a new marketing manager.

Since the beginning of the month, Marco Harfmann has played the role of Director Marketing and E-Commerce International, announced Hervis on Monday. At the retailer belonging to the SPAR SPAR SPAR, he is responsible for the strategic development of international marketing activities, digital and physical brand management as well as online orientation.

The 56-year-old marketer brings comprehensive experience of companies such as the communication provider A1 Telekom Austria and the consumer goods group Unilever, where he has successfully gave marketing, sales and customer management and successfully conveyed the brand presence via various communication channels. He has know-how in brand management, digital transformation and cross-channel customer addressing. This is intended to answer the development and implementation of effective campaigns by Hervis.

Hervis operates 227 locations in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Germany (Bavaria). The company employs 2,750 people: inside.
