Day 1 of the Open ended yesterday with the last two opportunities to advance in the tournament. Italy is back from the two successes in the senior but there is also to speak of a great Enrico Camosci who has already said his in the long Catalan parenthesis. Today the Open main event comes alive. 753 artists remain at stake
It is one of the stages most loved by the players. The reasons are many: by combining them all come out of decidedly crazy numbers. The 2025 was not an exception and the PokerStars Open in Barcelona, who will live the Day2 today, has really gathered many people. Meanwhile Enrico Camosci hits yet another important placement
An excellent chamois in the High Roller

Torri first and of Giacomo then. We still have in the mind the celebratory photos of the two Italians who took home the Senior tournament in that of Barcelona but the cards continue to fly. One of the most prestigious tournaments is certainly the High Roller: the buyin is very high and at the table we find the best exponents of the game. In short: few “fish” and many “sharks”. The High Roller of Barcelona saw 52 players challenge each other who generated a total prize pool of over 1 million and 200 thousand euros. He triumphed the Austrian Samuel Mullur but Italy defended himself with honor: the “usual” Enrico Camosci torn a fourth respectable fourth place. We are practically sure that this will not be the only satisfaction for the Bolognese player in these frenetic days.
PokerStars Open in Barcelona: off to day2
–
In all 8 the so -called “Flight” of the Main Event of the PokerStars Open in Barcelona. The last two occasions to qualify for the second day went on stage yesterday, as always one after lunch and one during an aperitif. In the Day 1G many presented themselves in many and the final count was well over 1000 players. The Day 1h instead had a total of 803 inputs. It is therefore time to do (and pull) the sums: Open saw a total of 5,036 (!!) players with a prize pool of over 7 million euros. Among the thousands of players there are obviously many Italians. The second day of the main will see at the start 735 “Survivors”. It was a fantastic Thursday for Candido Cappiello who won over half a million chips. Over 40 Italians have passed the “cut” only yesterday. The absolute chipleader instead is German: Ben Zech will start with 1 million and 3 thousand as well as a stack. Not really bad but Italy is there all right
