The British wanted to go on holiday in her own country this year and was delighted when she found a holiday resort in Notthinghamshire, where she could book a hut for just 116 British pounds, converted about 134 euros. “I had seen one photo of a furnished, wooden cabin and I was immediately sold,” said Jade. “Based on that one photo, I drew my conclusions that all huts would look like this.” She was so enthusiastic that she immediately reserved a house for her family vacation at the beginning of August, without reading the description on the website or viewing other photos.
The family left for their ‘luxurious hut’ on 8 August, but when they arrived, a surprise waited. “At first I thought there had been a burglary and that everything had been stolen,” says Jade. “Certainly because we had already passed other huts where everything stood.”
Wooden hut
But when she checked the information from her booking, Jade realized that she had made a mistake. The ‘luxurious hut’ was actually a kind of wooden tent to camp or to glamping to do. But of course it was intended that they had to bring camping material themselves.

Expensive joke
“We just all started to laugh,” it still sounds. “Fortunately my partner thought it was hilarious and we made the best of it.” The family bought some air mattresses and made a large bed on the floor. “Our daughter Pria (3) loved that, it was an adventure.”
An adventure that, by purchasing the camping material, eventually cost more than a week at a hotel, but that does not let Jade come to her heart. Although she has learned her lesson: “I will read the description better in the future.”
