RTL 4 seems to be pretty pecked after the statement of viewing figure authority Tina Nijkamp that the B&B full of love hype is a bit left. “They have never announced this before.”

Like Netflix, RTL normally never shares figures from their streaming platform Videoland. It fits with the mysterious model of streaming giants: you keep everything internal, so that no one can see which titles flop or how quickly the viewer drops out. But strikingly, RTL suddenly announced something this time: an unusual move.

3 million viewers

RTL boss Peter van der Vorst leaves it to it Ad – Not entirely coincidentally the competitor of Tina Nijkamps Telegraaf – Knowing that on Videoland ‘against 1.5 million people’ per episode, there is a look at B&B full of love. “Add to that the linear figures and the program attracts around three million people per episode.”

The television bobo is completely crazy with joy. “It is huge. If it would be two million together, the flag would already go out here. And then looking at small screens – think of telephones and tablets – would not be included.”

Criticism from Tina

Peter’s frankness follows just after a critical analysis by Tina about B&B full of love and that naturally feeds the suspicion that they still feel touched. “The B&B full of love hype is a bit over, it seems. It has become more B&B for sale unfortunately. Cupido was replaced by the broker,” she wrote.

Tina responded to a critical piece De Telegraaf. “The reality program of RTL 4 is again a viewing figure. But how long, under the surface of success, is slowly saturated?” The newspaper wonders.

First

Peters Unfilly will naturally also get RTL’s PR channel RTL Boulevard. “For the first time, RTL shares Videoland figures openly and it is right. Yes, Aran, it is of course a unique moment that these figures are released, right?” Says Presenter Morad El Ouakili.

Reporter Aran Bade: “Yes, because all streaming services keep those figures on the chest and do not want to show that. That also has to do with competition, but for the first time-and I think it is because it is a huge success-they share it. That is not common.”

“Gosh”

Aran repeats the figures once again. “It is about 1.5 million people who look through the streaming and then 1.5 million people linearly. That is really beyond expectations. That is really very high. I think that emphasizes the popularity of this program. They want to show that.”

Tina responds skeptically to her analysis canal. “Gosh. During this season, which also has many critical sounds, RTL now suddenly reveals Videoland figures. 1.5 million Videoland viewers, according to Peter van der Vorst. That is a lot for a streaming service with more than 1.6 million subscribers.”

In other words, she doesn’t seem to believe much of it. And the AD also places a critical comment: “The figures cannot be checked.”
