The final line has drawn: A few weeks after the removal as team boss of the Formula 1 racing team Red Bull Racing, the group has now also cut the last connections to Christian Horner. This emerges from the new entries in the commercial register that could be seen on Thursday.
Christian Horner’s era at Red Bull is officially ended. The long-time team boss of the Formula 1 racing team has now ceded all the items that he still had in the RB cosmos after his exemption on July 9th.
A few weeks ago, Horner was discontinued by Red Bull Racing, but at the same time worked as a director of several companies registered in the British commercial register – including Red Bull Racing, Red Bull Technology, Red Bull Powertrains (operator of the current Honda engines) and Red Bull Powertrains 2026. The Brit has now officially lost this post.
The company itself did not initially comment on the processes, but it can be assumed that Horner has agreed on a severance payment and the step has now taken place.
Red Bull writes under Horner Formula 1 story
The 51-year-old was exempted after the Formula 1 weekend in Silverstone and triggered worldwide headlines, especially since Horner had been the best-known face of the racing team for hour one, the team won eight driver titles under his performance and, especially thanks to Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, became one of the most successful at all times.
The relationship between Horner and Red Bull received deep cracks in early 2024 when an employee accused him of inappropriately inappropriate behavior. Although an internal investigation came to the judgment that no misconduct had been available, two fronts developed with the allegations and the aftermath.
During the backing for Horner piece by piece, the team also maneuvered itself in a sporty crisis in the 2025 Formula 1 season. This ultimately caused the proverbial barrel to overflow and ended the British era.
