According to the news reflected in the Italian press, the accounts of black and white people were re-examined within the framework of the investigation of irregularities in financial transactions called “Prisma”, which came to the agenda for the first time at the end of last November, with searches of club facilities and interrogations against some people.
It was recorded that Italian financial police teams, which took action once again on the order of the Turin Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, searched some law offices connected with the club in Turin, Rome and Milan last night.
According to the news, the focus of this latest search wave is the freezing of player accounts during the epidemic and the related salary payments to players.
It was stated that the prosecutors investigating the investigation examined the salary movements at the club, and also detected tendencies such as hiding and destroying some confidential documents outside the clubhouse.
The investigation against Juventus, known as “Prisma”, was launched by the Turin Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in May 2021, and the first searches and inquiries were made in November and December 2021. In the first wave of the investigation, the financial accounts in the period of 2019-2021 and the allegations that some football players were made unfairly in their transfers, especially Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to the black and white club in 2018, were examined, and some club managers were also asked to testify.
