An outdoor fire broke out at a house on the pastor van Vroonhovenstraat in Wijbosch on Wednesday evening. The fire started in a wood pile next to the house.
The wood was between the house and an outbuilding. The fire brigade quickly scaled to Middelbrand and pulled out with two tanker sprayers, a water wagon from Schijndel and a platform from Veghel. The outside fire was extinguished after a few hours.
A lot of smoke was released during the fire. The re -extinguishing took a long time because there was a risk that the fire would flare up again. During the extinguishing, the street was closed in both directions.
