Viaplay’s sports channels were given new names. Pasi Liesimaa
The names of Viaplay sports channels are changing, says Viaplay Group in a news release.
Until now, V Sport 1 Finland, V Sport 2 Finland and V Sport+ Finland are known as Viaplay 1 Sports, Viaplay 2 Sports and Viaplay 3 Sports.
Nordic sports channels – such as V Sport Football and V Sport Live 1 – remain unchanged.
According to the announcement, the name changes make the service “more recognizable, easier to approach and clearer”.
The update is also experienced by logos and layouts.
-The aim of the change is to clarify our Viaplay product brand communication and visibility in Finland. For example, all of our domestic Premier Studios will be available in Viaplay-more specifically on Viaplay streaming and Viaplay Sports, says Viaplay Finland CEO Mikael Svensson.
Before the V Sport era, the sports channels of the service were beginning with Viasat.
