A spokesperson for the Coast Guard said that after the find of the Kano ‘without a person’, a call had been made of sailing yachts. They were asked to look out for a possible drowning person.
A helicopter flew above the busy beach. Various boats from the Royal Dutch Rescue Society were also on display along the coast.
