New sponsor: BVB closes million deals

Borussia Dortmund has apparently concluded another lucrative sponsorship contract. In the future, the logo of the Swedish electric car manufacturer Polestar will adorn the Bundesliga club’s jersey. This reported the “Bild” newspaper on Monday. The new partner not only provides vehicles for the club, but will also be present in all competitions-Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Champions League.
According to information from the sheet the club and the company have concluded a contract for three years. The BVB receives around five million euros annually. Through success -dependent bonus payments, the total amount can increase to over 15 million euros.
For Borussia Dortmund it is already the second big advertising deal this summer. A few weeks ago, Vodafone was introduced as the new main sponsor. And it couldn’t stay the last: the sponsorship of the training outfit is still pending. According to the report, two companies that have not been named are currently in the race for the area on the chest of the training clothing. The club could take another eight and ten million euros per year.
In the 2024/25 season, BVB’s income from the sponsorship area was around 150 million euros. With the new partnerships, this value should increase significantly in the current season.
