The Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) is getting on the defensive after, according to the sector organization, “a lot of incorrect information has been circulating about the sector in recent days.” The diamond sector has remained unaffected by the European sanctions against Russia for the time being, but Groen and Vooruit want to change that.The AWDC believes that a political decision must be made “on the basis of correct information, because that decision will have major consequences.”
