Vandromme made it in the final of the Chinese second seed Han Shi (WTA 270). After more than three hours of tennis, the scoreboard 7-6 (7/4), 4-6 and 7-5 indicated. Especially in the last set, Vandromme made an impression. She looked at a 3-5 deficit, but managed to eliminate three match balls and still pulled the longest.
Vandromme now has two ITF victories. Last March she won her first tournament in Manacor, Spain. On August 11, she will make a big leap of almost 200 places on the WTA ranking.
