German zoo under fire: 12 healthy baboons fired and taken to predators because monkey stay was full

A zoo in the German city of Nuremberg reported on Tuesday that it had killed twelve baboons despite protests. Their monkey stay was overcrowded, so some of the baboons were shot and fed to the predators. Animal rights organizations reported that they had filed an indictment against the management of the zoo because, according to them, this slaughter could be prevented.
