The test game against an Austrian third division team is based on plan for Mainz 05. But Jae-Sung Lee is worried.

Ferred moment in the training camp: FSV Mainz 05 has to do without Jae-sung Lee in preparation for the upcoming Bundesliga season. The 32-year-old South Korean suffered a double jochbone fracture on Friday in the test game against the Austrian third division club SV Seekirchen. The game ended with a 5-0 win for the Bundesliga club.

Lee had unhappily crashed into his face against the goal post during the game in the penalty area. The offensive midfielder will only train individually. The next test game of the Rheinhessen against Crystal Palace on Tuesday (2 p.m.) will miss the midfielder.

After returning from the training camp in Austria, it is planned that Lee will receive a protective mask adapted to his face. Then he should get back into team training, as the club announced.
