To be counted among the biggest stars of track motorcycling Marc Marquez suffers from serious health problems in the aftermath of its drastic expulsion.
Honda, a Spanish employer racing in the MotoGP series, announced the return of vision problems that had already plagued the six-time world champion after a wild run-out seen in Indonesia.
Marquez crashed drastically during Sunday’s warm-up run. After the flight, the Honda driver, who was severely asphalted, was treated along the track before being admitted to the hospital.
The hard-hitting track star survived without fractures, but the main body, more specifically the other eye, was hit hard.
Marquez had to leave last season in the middle of the season after seeing everything in two. The trouble is the result of an accident in the Moto2 class ten years ago. Marquez then damaged the optic nerve in one eye, causing hallucinations.
Last year, the trouble was triggered by a shake in the exercises. It kept him off the bike for three months.
Staying upright, Marquez has mastered the MotoGP series in recent years. However, the previous two years have been ruined by serious health problems.
In 2020, he injured his shoulder after falling. Too hurried to return to the wheels of the bike ruined the recovery, and for a short time the hand was at all operational at stake. Marquez was eventually able to return to the race, but the shoulder has still not fully returned to its original operating condition.
Marquez has won 59 MotoGP races and six world championships in his career. The 2013-2019 title went only once a page by mouth.
