SAP share in view: SAP with a leap in profits – Slight turnover under forecast

SAP presented the results for the second quarter of 2025 and first half of 2025.

The figures presented for the past annual quarter show a profit per share of EUR 1.45. This represents a significant increase compared to the EUR 0.760 of the previous year.

In the case of sales proceeds, EUR 9.027 billion was achieved, compared to EUR 8.288 billion in the previous year. Here the analyst forecasts were at a value of 9.084 billion euros.

The cloud proceeds were 5.13 billion euros and thus under the market expectations of 5.17 billion euros. Nevertheless, the company confirmed its forecast for the year as a whole: the cloud turnover should continue to be between 21.6 and 21.9 billion euros, the operational profit between 10.3 and 10.6 billion euros.

In the first half of the year, the EPS amounted to EUR 2.98, after EUR 0.05 per share in the previous year. The proceeds rose from EUR 16.329 billion to EUR 18.040 billion.

The SAP share had lost around one percent before publishing the post-market record on Tradegate.

A new era begins to process business processes, and the SAP is well established to benefit from this development,” said CEO Christian Klein as part of the Report template.

CFO Dominik Asam added: “For the second half of the year, we remain optimistic and keep an eye on the geopolitical developments and trends in the public sector.”
