Teemu Selänne will haunt the NHL.
Finnish hockey star Teemu Selänne55, spent his handsome NHL career culminating in Anaheim Ducks at Anaheim Ducks and finally ended his gaming career in 2014 in California, where he also stayed permanently.
Selänne’s importance in Anaheim’s organization is still enormous, although there has been no official employment company so far.
Now, more than ten years after the end of the career, the former top striker admits that time is maturing for a new role within the club.
“They try them all the time,” Selänne says.
– I’ve mainly been involved in their charity projects and somehow it feels like there hasn’t been time so far. Now, undeniably, little quiet could be something to give there, especially when Veeran [tytär] Coaching is no longer my responsibility.
According to Selänne, the offers from Anaheim are raining at a steady pace, but the role should be just right.
– Coaching is not interested. It is offered that I decide for myself what I want to do. It is a bit of a way to go to the full or not at all. You wouldn’t bother to go half -light.
As a possible alternative, Selänne mentions the special areas of hockey in particular.
– Some role in the club leadership or coaching group could be something that interests you. Or maybe the overwhelming game has always been of interest. That could be someone like this ‘overlooking of the powerplay’ [ylivoima-kokonaisuuden tarkastelu ja kehittäminen].
– Let’s see now when I return to California. Let’s take it in peace.
Tentacle market
Work offers from Anaheim are not the only plans for the future of Selänne. He is also involved in launching Finnish -oriented Arctic Blue Long Drink on the US market.
This is a joint venture between Arctic Blue Beverages and Selänne -led American investor group. The aim is to bring a beverage brand to the United States during 2025.
– We are starting to bring it to the US at the end of the year, Selänne says.
– It will employ me quite a lot in a nice way.
