Runner -up Antti Sainio20, has broken the Finnish record in the 400 meters.
Sainio ran a new SE-time 48.97 at the Under-23 European Championships in Bergen.
The previous one was Oskari Mörön 49.04 run by 2016.
Sainio’s previous personal record was 49.36. Born in Nokia, the Aituri represents the Tampere Pyrinth.
Sainio was the fastest in his semi -final in his record time.
Jere Haapalainen He ran third in the next round with a time of 50.94.
