Chanel moves with his Düsseldorf flagship on the famous Königsallee shopping mile.
The French fashion house changes from its previous location on Königsallee 40 to house number 20, a spokeswoman said at the request of Fashionunited. Louis Vuitton was previously represented there with a shop. The brand, which belongs to the French luxury goods group LVMH, opened its new flagship a year ago – just a few doors.
With the new shop, Chanel increases significantly in Düsseldorf. The 630 square meter sales area of the new location is around 70 percent larger than the previous one.
The current shop made headlines after a flash in January last year. At that time, two perpetrators with a white car are said to have driven backwards several times backwards against the shop window of the shop in order to steal jewelry and bags by a gap “within minutes”, the Düsseldorf police said after the crime.
Chanel plans to open her new store on September 5th. The luxury brand is currently still looking for sellers: inside and fashion consultants: inside for the location.
