THEThe collective work “Humanity”, in memory of the victims of Covid-19 in all the public hospitals in Bologna and widespread in all public hospitals in the metropolitan area.
The installation, conceived by the Tarp artist, an art name of Alberto Pratelli, and made with the atelier collective of the barn, is made up of hospital sheets on which they were Hand writings names and birth dates of the approximately 4,500 people who died in the Bologna area.
The project was born from the long 120 meters exposed on 18 March in Piazza Maggiore during the national day in memory of the victims of Covid. Now that sheet has been divided and adapted to the various hospitals in the area, integrated by wall paintings depicting children in dialogue with the faces of the victims: a symbol of a new humanity, hope and continuity. The initiative is promoted by the network of associations that have collaborated in the vaccination campaign.
