NBALeBron James has helped the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA to a victory over his former club Cleveland Cavaliers. The 37-year-old American, who was cheered and serenaded by the spectators in Cleveland, signed with 38 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds for a so-called triple-double. ,,I just wanted to win, that’s all that matters to me’, James replied when asked if this victory was extra special for him. “We really needed this win.”

James made his NBA debut for Cleveland Cavaliers and returned to the club in 2014 after winning two championships with the Miami Heat. The basketball player gave the ‘Cavs’ their first title in the NBA in 2016. Two years later, James switched to the Lakers, with whom he also became champion.

The 17-time NBA winner from LA now has to work hard to make the playoffs. The Lakers recorded their 31st win of the season in Cleveland and are countered by 41 losses. James’ team is in ninth place in the west, a position that means participation in the preliminaries of the playoffs. They start next month. The Cavaliers are heading straight for the play-offs with 41 wins against 31 defeats.
