We are giving away the album “EINARSSON.” by Thorsteinn Einarsson

Singer/songwriter Thorsteinn Einarsson presents us from March 25th. with “EINARSSON.” a new record and thus delivers a total of ten new titles. For the release, we are giving away three CDs for the album, which will only be released digitally in Germany.

The 26-year-old Icelander became known in 2015 with his hit “Leya”. This helped him to win the title of “Best Songwriter of the Year” at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards. Since then, Einarsson has released two more albums: 1; and IngI, which takes his middle name. Now follows his third work “EINARSSON.”, which due to the pandemic had to be created without any physical meetings with the producer team – the entire album was developed via video conferences.

“EINARSSON.”: The third part of a trilogy

The sequence of his three works represents a trilogy for Einarsson and also reflects his “career as an artist and as a person”. With the completion of the third album, the Austrian now feels as if he has “arrived at adulthood”. The musician explains this statement by taking time for himself over the last few years and comes to the conclusion: “I was able to form a clear opinion on life with all its beautiful but also challenging aspects and thus deal with them better .”

The album sheds light on different phases of life and lyrically deals with long-distance relationships, moving to another city, being the “best version” of yourself, and also with phases of depression, according to the singer about the track list of the long player.

The Austrian says of the sequence of the ten titles: You should “listen to the whole album the first time – from the first to the last track. The arrangement of the songs exudes a very special dynamic, even if they don’t necessarily build on one another.”

The music videos for the current singles “Shackles” and “Bridges Burn” have already been released, on March 25th. follows a video for the newly released release “Runaway”, which is intended to complete the video series – also designed as a trilogy.
