Assessment: We continue through the north of France, Normandy offers a perfect terrain for a heroic struggle on this day. Because there will be – there are over 3,500 meters of altitude to overcome on this “flat stage”. The area certainly does not bear the name “Norman Switzerland” for nothing. Of course, the terrain is something for classic drivers, but as one of the same, Tadej Pogacar has emerged again this spring. Will the Slovenian attack? Once again around 50 kilometers before the finish? Or is he attacking his attack on the spectacular finale, which is fought on the 700 meter long and ten percent steep climb to the finish line?
