The parliament bears the heavy responsibility to decide on participation in a mission or the broadcasting of soldiers. Although many citizens expect our people’s representatives to make a pure assessment and only send people if that is justified, it appears in practice that politics often act less rationally and can be influenced by all kinds of occasional motifs. George Dimitriu discovered this during his PhD research into political decision -making about missions. In this episode of Delta Tango he is a guest and tells, among other things, about the secret documents he could see about the decision -making around the mission in Uruzgan. He also looks back on his time as a soldier in Afghanistan. The Podcast Delta Tango can also be heard via Apple Podcastsen Spotify
