On the A9 the delay takes the longest. Between Alkmaar and Diemen, at Badhoevedorp, there is 10 kilometers of traffic jams and the delay takes almost half an hour.
The A9 is also fixed the other side. A traffic jam of 19 kilometers has been created between Amstelveen and the Velsen junction. Motorists must take into account more than 20 minutes of delay.
This is not the first time that the A9 completely clogs up. This is due to work on the connecting road at the Badhoevedorp junction to the A4 towards Amsterdam.
The Ring around Amsterdam
It is also hit on the Ring around Amsterdam. The entire A10 turns red due to fixed or slow driving traffic.
At junction De Nieuwe Meer towards the Watergraafsmeer junction, traffic stands still the longest. Motorists must take into account a delay of more than half an hour.
