“Sportschau” gets additional edition

From the coming season, the first will redesign the Bundesliga Friday: The “Sportschau” will receive an additional edition in the late evening from August 22nd. Every Friday from 11.10 p.m., the ARD then shows highlights from the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga in a 45-minute program.
So far, only a summary of the second division games has been on Friday evening-but only with the one-off one. With the new format, the “Sportschau” is now moving directly to the main program of the ARD on Friday.
The program is produced in the Cologne studio. For special games of the 1st Bundesliga on Friday evening, it is also planned to report directly from the stadium. In a message, the ARD explained: With the new Bundesliga rights that make it possible to show the first summaries of the games of both leagues exclusively from 11:00 p.m. on free TV, you want to redesign the first Friday evening in the first.
In order to increase attention to the new program, the Friday “Sportschau” is broadcast immediately after the crime series “Murder in the north”, which in turn connects to the “daily topics”. So far, the ARD showed repetitions of older “crime scene” episodes.
