Timo Werner has played over 200 games for RB Leipzig. It seems excluded that more games are added.
Timo Werner and RB Leipzig once celebrated the winning of the DFB Cup. But the 2022/23 season is now far ago – and the career of the former international has received a mighty kink. Most recently, he was loaned to Tottenham, but was not very successful in London. Now the “picture” reports that Leipzig is no longer interested in the service of the striker.
Accordingly, the offensive player should not even play a test game even more. The sporting future of the native of Stuttgart remains open – but a specific offer has long been on the table.
According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, the striker received an offer from the New York Red Bulls. The MLS club therefore offers the 29-year-old a contract for two and a half years until the end of 2027. Werner would probably earn four million a year. However, his consultant and he are said to have rejected the offer.
